He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Smith and Elizabeth Smith; his siblings, Matthew, Elizabeth "Betty" Conklin, Harry and Alexander; and his daughter-in-law Linda.
He is survived by: his brother Dave; his wife Gloria; and his children, Susan (Gary Bariletto), Douglas, Donna (Joseph Cauda) and Bonnie. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
