She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Pickel and Catherine Pickel; her husband Eugene M. Gallagher; her sisters, Barbara MacLean and Catherine Lindner; and her daughter-in-law MaryAnne Gallagher.
She is survived by: her sister Linda Sims (Tom) of Manasquan, NJ.; her sisters-in-law, Maryann Freeman of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Peggy Tansey (Bill) of Manasquan, NJ.; her children, Eugene "Gene" Gallagher, Jr. of Cedar Grove, NJ, Michael Gallagher (Kathy) of Cary, NC, Kathleen MacDonald (Peter) of Jackson, NJ and John Gallagher (Tracy) of Downingtown, PA.; her grandchildren, Michelle, Katie (David), Gino (Jenny), Lauren (Adam), Ryan (Kerri), Meaghan (Colton), Kevin (Steph), Kim, Matt, Mike and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Fallon and Ella. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Denis Church (90 Union Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St Denis (90 Union Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St Catharine Cemetery (1100 W Chicago Blvd, Sea Girt, NJ 08750).
