We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2022, at the age of 82, Barbara S. Rhodes (Manasquan, New Jersey), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Willett A Rhodes; and her daughter Lisa Beth Rhodes. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey; her daughter-in-law Jerrie Lynn Rhodes; her daughter Amy Veivia; her grandchildren, Nicholas Rhodes (Kathryn Rhodes), Lauren Rhodes, Olivia Rhodes, Audrey Veivia, Alexander Veivia, Lisa Veivia and Katherine Veivia; and her siblings, Dorothy, Elizabeth and William. She is also survived by spouses and many nieces and nephews.
She said, "funerals are sad, and I prefer that my family and friends have happy memories of me."In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either The Salvation Army, 605 Asbury Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712 or the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
