He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Engel; and his son Kirk Engel. He is survived by: his daughter Linda; his son-in-law Ray Ruckriegel; his grandchildren, Melissa Engel (Brian Kirshberger), Lisa (John Purvis), Rebecca (Connor Perone) and Timothy Ruckriegel; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Vivian Purvis, Noah Perone and Sharell Vizcuna.
