She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George P. Helfrich; her parents, George D. McLaughlin and Evelyn A. McLaughlin; her siblings, Margaret M. Odell, Mary Evelyn Friant and Col. George D. McLaughlin, Jr.; her children, Christine Helfrich of Manasquan, George P. Helfrich, Jr. (Joan) of Madison, Katharine M. Driscoll (Robert) of Neptune, Gerald J. Helfrich (Beth) of Manasquan and Gregory P. Helfrich (Eileen) of Chatham; her sister Josephine M. McGurk of Berwyn, PA.; her grandchildren, Lauren (Peter), George (Tara), Katie (Jay), Andrew (Kelly), Robert (Lauren), Gregory, Meghan (Liam), Gerald (Shannon), Michael (Erin), Stephen, Elizabeth (Martin), Mary Kate and Amanda; and her great grandchildren, Mabel Mary, Peter George, Dorothy Anne, Madelyn Rose, Finnegan William, Gavin James, Emma James, Lucy James and Grace Olivia. She was also cherished by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
