Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Agnes Bakunas of Manasquan, New Jersey, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away at the age of 103, on September 16, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Carvalho and Sarah Carvalho; and her husband Joseph Bakunas, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Richard Bakunas (Deb Colligan) of Manasquan, Barbara Bakunas of Manasquan, Linda Williams (Raymond) of Manasquan, Joseph Bakunas (Mariann) of Parsippany and Sharon Stevenson (Greg) of Brick; her grandchildren, Lauren McGarry (Paul), Brian Williams (Coralee), David Bakunas (Olivia), Jonathan Williams, Melissa DeSanti (Fred), Austin Stevenson, Troy Stevenson, Riley Stevenson and Corinne Stevenson; and her great grandchildren, Anya, Emma McGarry, Daisy, Ginny, Josie Williams, Katherine, Luke, Bradley Bakunas, Georgia, Freddie and Paige DeSanti.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Beach Chapel (554 E Main St, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
