He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his daughters, Lisa Nieves and Leslie Quiles; his son-in-law Leonard Quiles; his grandsons, Christopher Leonard, Nicholas Peter and Joshua Matthew; his brother Ralph Nieves; and his sisters-in-law, Angie Nieves, Irene Nieves and Evangeline Gonzalez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
