She was predeceased by: her parents, William Altman and Cecila Altman; her husband Louis Szaraz; her sister Beverly Deifik; and her nephews, Mark and Alan Deifik.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Szaraz, Janet Cassidy (Donald) and Steven Szaraz (Carol); her grandchildren, Jessica, Mike, Anthony, Caitlyn, Robert, Jennifer, James, Emily, Rob, Connor, Sarah and Sterling; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Alyssa, Brenna, Cayson, Dara, Layla, Violet and Rain; her nephew Barry; and her niece Jillian.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association.
