He was predeceased by: his daughter Amy Schwartzstein; and his brother-in-law Raymond Fern. He is survived by: his son Barry Schwartzstein of East Brunswick; his sister Cecile Fern of Springfield; his grandchildren, Rebecca Stavola (David) of Red Bank and Dr. Daniel Schwartzstein of East Brunswick; and his great grandchild Millie Margaret Stavola of Red Bank.
