He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Pochek and Helen Pochek. He is survived by: his wife Joan (Pegos); his children, Robert (Teresa) and Sharon Karamanol (Jason) of Lake Hopatcong; his grandchildren, Jess, Amanda, Nicholas and CJ; and his sister Helene Stickney of Georgia.
