He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Patrick Garland; and his siblings, Michael Joseph Garland and Mary Gloria Daly. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Garland (Klemm); his children, Kathleen Garland, Eileen Garland, Heather Dominguez (Joseph), Bridget Garland, William (Anastasia), Timothy (Amanda) and Erin Lasso (Gerard); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Liam, Isabel, Michela, Joseph, Claire and London.
