He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Evelyn Erickson. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Erickson Jr. (MaryKay) and Kenneth Erickson (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Robert Erickson III, Matthew Erickson, Ashley Erickson, John Kozyrakis and Mary-Jamie Kozyrakis; and his siblings, Ruth Serek, Helen Bahrenburg and William Erickson (Marcella). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
