She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her children, Mary M Austin (Danny) of Newton, NJ, Joseph Downey (Alicia) of Flanders, NJ, Michael Downey (Hannah) of Manahawkin and Peter Downey of Manahawkin; her sister Marilyn Meyer of Brooklyn, NY.; and her grandchildren, Steven, Victoria, Katie (Mathias), Daniel, Andrew, Nicholas, Elizabeth and RJ.
