Monica Lisa Harsch Obituary

Monica Harsch, age 58, of Manahawkin, NJ, died on April 8, 2022 at home.

Born in Hackensack, NJ, she had resided in Jackson, NJ for most of her adult life until moving to Manahawkin, NJ in 2013. A graduate of Pinelands Regional High School, she studied at Stockton State College (now University) before becoming a mother in 1984. She raised two children with her former husband, Jeff Pascarella, and worked for the Jackson Township Municipality. More recently, she ran her own cleaning business in the Manahawkin and Long Beach Island area for several years. Monica loved singing, often performing in local theater groups and singing the national anthem for the Lakewood BlueClaws Baseball team. She also had a love of gardening, crafting, and caring for her 3 pet ferrets.

She is predeceased by her father, James Harsch and her mother Margaret Harsch (nee Weideman).

Surviving is her daughter, Leona Pascarella of Brick; her son, Jeffrey Pascarella of Red Bank, her two grandsons, Luca and Finley Buckno, and her partner, Tony Mastellone.

A memorial gathering and service will take place on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ.
