It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Smith of Manahawkin, New Jersey, born in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mille Smith (Rocha) of Kearny, NJ.. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura G. Ferreira (Rick) and Barbara A. Raue (Rod); his grandchildren, Heather (Joe), John (Tomi-Anne), Cynthia (Kevin) and Jason (Breanna); and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Casey, Elizabeth, Avery and Abigail. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Manahawkin United Methodist Church may be made.
