Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDermott and Dorothy McDermott; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: the mother of his children Tracy McDermott; his children, Nicole (Jeff), Ricky, John and Paul; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Jr. of Nicolas, CJ and Caitlin; and his sisters, Patty Denillo, Teri Gordon and Dotty McDermott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
