He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Lee and George Lee; his stepmother Dolores Lee Barrett; his brother Richard Applegate; and his father-in-law Hugh Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Hughes Lee; his children, Brian Lee (Kristen Lee) of Manahawkin and Bridget Lee of Neptune; his son-in-law Christopher DeLuise; his grandchildren, McKenna Lee, Morgan Lee and Logan Lee; his mother-in-law Maryann Hughes; his siblings, George Lee (Geraldine), Walter Applegate, Lenny Applegate, John Stoll (Jane) and Karen Monahan (James); and his siblings-in-law, Kim Boesch and Mickey Hughes (Kellie).
