She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustino Zolezi and Susie Zolezi; and her husband Michael James Kappes. She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Kappes and Barbara Caruso; her grandchildren, Andrea Hopson (Shawn), Christine and Michael Caruso; her great grandchildren, Alexandria and Gunner Hopson; and her niece Susan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home (573 Mill Creek Rd, Manahawkin, NJ 08050). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
