He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Werner Mashig and Janice Mashig (Buckler); his wife Alice Mashig (Mueller); his sons, Hunter, Harrison and Malcolm Mashig of Mahwah; his siblings, Nancy Schmid, Jodie Sovak (Sean), Erika Thomson (Matt) and Werner Mashig; his siblings-in-law, Thomas Mueller (Lorie), John Mueller (Karen) and Debbie Bartolozzi; his nieces and nephews, Cassie Schmid (Roger), Kerala, Kiran Sovak, Halle, Mila Mashig, Ella Thomson, Julie, Kaitlyn, Allison Mueller, Sue Bartolozzi, Lorenz Schmid (Anzelika), Adam Thomson, Chris Mueller (Sandy), Kevin Mueller and Gregg Bartolozzi; his great-nieces, Emilie and Averie Feltman; his stepmother Alice Mashig; his aunt Karen Buckler; his cousin Tracey Buckler; and his sister Margaret Mashig. He was also cherished by his parents, sisters, and brother that remains strong and even extends to many friends he considered part of his family.
