With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Nielsen of Mahwah, New Jersey, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Bruns and Irene Bruns (late Donald M. Nielsen); and her daughter Karen Dabbour. She is survived by: her children, Linda Galanos of Morrisville, Jill Nielsen of Ringoes, NJ, Barry Ladwig of San Diego, CA, David Nielsen of Santa Fe, NM and Christopher Nielsen of Hopewell, NJ.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
