He was predeceased by: his wife Magdalen Lundy; his son Patrick; and his sister Kathleen. He is survived by: his children, Brian, Richard (Cliffie), Maura (Neil), Catherine (late Gregory) and Edward (Noreen); his daughter-in-law Georgette; his grandchildren, Jason (Claudia), Brandon, Matthew, Conor (Lauren), Joseph (Alexandra), Michael, Molly, Anna, Clare, Megan, Benjamin and Colin; and his great grandchildren, Christian, Korben, Alayna, Matthew William and Ella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and the long-lasting friends.

Memorial Donations are being accepted to Cape Fear Clinic, 1605 Doctors Circle, Wilmington, NC 28401.
