As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mynard Greene and Madeline Greene. He is survived by: his wife Carol Greene; his daughter Lindsey Greene Barrett; and his grandchildren, Clara Barrett and Walter Barrett.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ramapo Reformed Church (100 Island Rd, Mahwah, NJ 07430). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Ramapo Reformed Church Cemetery (100 Island Rd, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in his memory to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum (for the ACD Club Photo Car Display), the National Auto & Truck Museum, both located in Auburn, Indiana, and the Ramapo Reformed Church, Mahwah, NJ.
