With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Conte of Mahwah, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Judge John A. Conte; and her brother Nicholas Tafuri. She is survived by: her children, Meryl Conte Clayton, John A. Conte, Jr. (Donna), Maria Conte-Benedict and Jennifer Conte Passerino (Anthony); her siblings, Robert Tafuri (Julie), Mildred Mooney and Nancy Calabria; her grandchildren, Andrew Clayton (Brianna), JP Clayton (Ashley), John W. Conte, David Conte (Samantha), Michael Conte (Melissa), Ralph, Isabella Benedict, Jenna Aquilino (Nicholas), Robert Passerino, Anthony Passerino, Kyle and Tyler Tafuri; and her great grandchildren, Julianna Rae Conte, Walter Ignatius Clayton and Harper Jane Clayton. She is also survived by her family, doting over her granchildren and greatgrandchildren.
