He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Krone and Andrew Krone; his brothers, George, Andrew, Robert and Hugh; his son Andrew; his grandchildren, Matthew Jr. and Kennedy; and his favorite title Poppy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph, Thomas (Diane), Albert, Kathleen Burns (William) and Dorothy Fitzsimmons (Thomas); his sister-in-law Ellen Krone; his wife Linda Nicholas of Mahwah; and his sons, Matthew (Kristen) of Montville and Stephen of Philadelphia.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home (109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul R. C. Church (200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Maryrest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
