Frederick Towers Jr. Obituary

Towers, Frederick Charles, 81, of Mahwah. It is with great sadness that the family of Fred Towers announces his passing. He passed away at his Daughter Doreen's house on March 5, 2021, at the age of 81 years old with his family by his side. Fred was born in the Bronx on October 5, 1939 to Frederick and Louise. He is survived by his loving wife Lillian of 27 years, his 2 children Frederick (Ricky) and Doreen from his first wife, Catherine (Cea) Towers (deceased).

He is lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, all his cherished family, friends and neighbors. Fred worked as a textile mechanic during his younger years until the early 80's where he worked in the Hackensack School System, retiring as the Head of Maintenance in 2007. He loved baseball and was an avid Yankee fan.

He loved playing the lottery, cards with family, going to the casinos, having his occasional Jack & Coke, and more recently a newfound love of Sushi. He was a simple man with the kindest heart, always willing to do anything for anyone without question with a gentle smile and happy brow.
