He is survived by: his wife Julia R. Brown; his children, Francis W. Brown, Jr. (Karen), Gerardette Doukali (Mohammed) and Michelle M. Brown; his grandchildren, Katrina (Manny), Kerstin (Jorge), Ali, Omar and Khadija; and his stepgrandson Michael. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
