He was predeceased by: his parents, James Peterson and Eileen Peterson; his brother James Peterson, Jr.; and his father-in-law Benjamin Brookes, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen D. Peterson; his mother-in-law Irene Brookes; his siblings-in-law, Benjamin Brookes, III, April Brookes, Jacqueline Melendez, Anthony Melendez, Michele Brookes, Jennifer Powell, Alan Powell and Barbara Peterson; and his pets, Zoey, Piper, Abby, Toto and Pike of Berlin, NJ.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
