He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis B. Franke; and his parents, Edith Franke and Walter Franke. He is survived by: his sons, York C. Franke (Tracey Brennan-Franke) of Chester Twp and Erik Franke of Madison; his sister-in-law Shirley Mahoney (Dennis); his granddaughter Andrianne; his great grandchild Desani; his nieces, Shawn Lourie (Steven), Ashley Leuthe (Brian) and Erin Mahoney (Joshua Earwood); and his siblings, Wolfgang and Klause.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Madison Memorial (159 Main St, Madison, NJ 07940). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Vincent's Cemetery Noe Avenue (82 Noe Ave, Madison, NJ 07940).
