It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph F. Fennelly D. of Madison, New Jersey, born in Astoria, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his caregiver Lucille A. Paccioretti; his wife Lucille Ann Fennelly; his children, Deborah Jean Fennelly, Dr. Glenn Fennelly of El Paso, TX, Dr. Bryan Fennelly of Madison and Jeffrey Fennelly of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Aidan, Kayla, Maura and Yuri Fennelly; and his siblings, Thomas Fennelly, Mildred Risley and William Fennelly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

They often attended two performances on a given Saturday, attending their last together on March 14, 2020 (one day after Broadway's closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Palliative and Hospice Unit at Morristown Medical Center, the Metropolitan Opera, The New York Philharmonic, the Academy of Vocal Arts of Bucks Cty and Philadelphia, and the Cheshire Home of Florham Park, NJ.
