He was predeceased by: his sister Helen E. McCardle; his sister-in-law Antoinette Chiarolanzio; and his parents, William Blair and Helen Blair. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Blair; his children, John Blair, Jr. and Mary Jo Johnson (Scott); his grandson Connor Johnson; his siblings, William Blair (Mary Ellen) and Mary Ann Pietromonica (Gabriel); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Chiarolanzio, Lucille Fitz and Mary Galano (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
