He is survived by: his wife Barbara Morris Benedict of Pompton Plains; his children, Elizabeth Benedict of Millburn, NJ, Mary Claire Benedict of Montpelier and Andrew Benedict (Angelina) of Morristown, NJ; his daughter-in-law Jane Park of North Bergen, NJ; his grandchildren, Robin McGrath, Ellen McGrath, Julian Kasow, Georgia Kasow and Sofia Benedict; and his great grandchild Cornelius Dukelow.
