He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Anthony Mallaney and Cathleen Angela Mallaney. He is survived by: his wife Grace Marie Mallaney of Madison; his children, Edward A. Mallaney, III, Stephen T. Mallaney and Lauren Mallaney; and his siblings, Joseph Mallaney (Barbara), Maura Mallaney (John Perini), Nancy Phillips (David), Frances McCarthy (James) and Patricia Downey (Christopher).
