He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hughes and Anna Hughes; his father-in-law William Cronin; and his brother William Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hughes; his mother-in-law Madeline; his sons, Brian and Kevin Hughes; and his siblings, Elizabeth Costello and James Hughes. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
