He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Foerster and Frank Foerster; his sister Joan; and his brother-in-law Bob Holleron. He is survived by: his wife Georgette Foerster; his children, Sandra Spokane (Allen) and Michael (Carla); his siblings, Frank Foerster (Sharon) and Arlene Santos (Al); his siblings-in-law, Ralph (Louise Sassano) and Linda Salkiewicz (Tommy); his grandchildren, Marissa, Olivia Spokane and Michael Antonio Foerster; and his daughters-in-law, Mari Reasco, Nico Palma and Maria Isaza.

Michael always donated to those in need including St Jude's and Shriners Hospital for children.
