With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maureen Gibbons (Lyndhurst, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maureen left this world on March 2, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ida Intindola; her spouse Thomas F. Gibbons, Sr.; and her brother Alfred Patrick Intindola, Jr.. She is survived by: her father Alfred Intindola; her children, Thomas and Christopher (Bridget); her grandchildren, Madison, Juliana, Christopher and James; and her sister Virginia Gaccione. She is also survived by many nieces, nephew, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home (425 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Calendar Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R. C. Church (197 Kingsland Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071). A Mass will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bergen County Animal Shelter.
