He is survived by: his mother Barbara Morrell; his wife Diane Morrell; his son Lewis J. Morrell Jr.; his siblings, LuAnn Critchley (Ed) and Mark Morrell (Carolyn Cuba); his parents-in-law, Frank and Barbara Prelich; his siblings-in-law, Karen (Stephen Passaro) and Michael Prelich; his nieces, Jennifer Critchley (Erik Holl) and Caroline Passaro; his nephew Andrew Prelich; his aunt Lynne Devine (William Devine); and his cousins, Billy, Ellen, Will Devine, Christine Devine and Noel Triguero (Matt McNally).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church (141 Washington Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lewis's memory to the PBA Local 134 Civic Association, PO Box 4087, South Hackensack NJ 07606 to continue his mission of service to others.
