He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo La Verghetta (Michelina) and Bassi; and his siblings, Nicholas (Mary), Anthony (Marie) and Elena.
He is survived by: his sister Mary G. La Verghetta; his son Leonard La Verghetta, Jr. (Jay); his granddaughter Lauren (Billy); his great grandchildren, April, Summer and Trey Armstrong; his sibling NJ; and his wife Elsie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
