He is survived by: his children, Jason Correia (Jennifer), Jevon Correia and Jessica Correia; his grandchildren, David, Caitlin, Ilyana, Wyland, Sylah, Shelby, Piper and Gunner; and his sisters, Brenda (Clive) of Freitas, Marie (Jim Feeley), Julie (Noel Camacho) and Bridget (Andrew Kolibas). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Joseph's family requests donations be made in his memory to the Bergen County Animal Shelter, 100 United Lane, Teterboro, NJ 07608.
