Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his son Anthony Castiglia. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his son John J. Castiglia, Jr. (Anne); his granddaughters, Ava and Mia; his sister Camille Planer; and his cousin John Braffa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. (403 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (324 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (742 Rutherford Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071).
