He was predeceased by: his wife Diana Hedden; and his siblings, William Arthur Hedden and Miriam Evelyn Tillman. He is survived by: his son Timothy J. (Maureen V. Hedden); and his grandchildren, Terrence, Garrett, Andrew and Kayla.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
