He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hanratty and Mary Hanratty; and his brother Bob. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hanratty of Dublin; his children, Edward Hanratty (Jaime), Sean Hanratty (Jenna), Elizabeth Mueller (Daniel) and Erin Hanratty; his grandchildren, Liam, Emma, Mackenzie and Grace; and his sister-in-law Breda Reilly.
