“In loving memory of Antoinette Roderick Chiaro, I am so glad I reconnected with my grandmother before she died. We had not spoken for many years. I thought she had forgotten me and perhaps she had similar worries. The years just melted away when we spoke. We told each other how much we loved each other. My grandmother told me a happy story about my childhood from over forty years ago. I will honor her yahrzeit every year. I miss her and I love her.”
