He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ann Boylan (Murphy) and Charles J. Boylan. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Boylan (Mercurio); his daughters, Kelly Boylan of Wall, Kristine Schweighardt (Paul) of Neptune and Kimberly Byrd (Matthew) of Hallsboro, NC; his stepchildren, Christopher, Alyssa Jurtschenko of Landing, NJ and Megan Jurtschenko of Miami, FL; his grandchildren, Leah, Charlee-Ann, Anderson, McKinley, Austin and Connor; and his brothers, Thomas and Lawrence Boylan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages you to donate to the Blue Chips Foundation, which is a co-ed youth mentoring and sports program that focuses on bridging the gap between police officers in the NYPD and youth throughout NYC.
