She was predeceased by: her parents, Margie Ivory and Lamar Earl Washington; and her siblings, Louis Washington and Teala Quarterman. She is survived by: her husband George Seward Jr.; her sons, Kareem Washington (Carla), Keishawn Seward and Kiril Seward; her grandchildren, Jaden Washington, Kaya Washington, Cayden Washington, Anjai Seward, Murad Seward, Keile Seward, McKinsey Seward, Jordan Seward and Jason Seward; and her nieces and nephews, Jaleena Anthony, Joann Pennington, Lydell Washington, Tyrone Redding and Shamar Washington. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and a host of dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Day Lawson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (243 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
