Michael J. Cioffi Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Cioffi (Long Branch, New Jersey), who passed away on March 23, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Mayor Henry "Skip" Cioffi. He is survived by: his mother Jean DeStefano-Cioffi; his friends, Anthony Chiafullo, Daniel Patella, JJ Vaissalle and Alfred "Butch" Guzzi; his wife Sylvia Sylvia-Cioffi (Beneito); his uncles, Robert and Father Ron Cioffi; his sisters, Gina Cioffi-Loud and Danielle Cioffi-Storz; his brothers-in-law, Ted Loud and John Storz; his brother Long Branch Firefighter; his sister-in-law Valerie Simonelli-Cioffi; his nephew Henry; and his niece Marina. He is also survived by his many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fired Up for a Cure, supporting cancer prevention of those impacted by 9/11, as well as our every day uniformed firefighters and their families.
