He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Smeriglio and Theresa Smeriglio; and his brothers, Pasquale Smeriglio, Victor Smeriglio and Mario Smeriglio, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Vincenza DeVivo Smeriglio; his brothers, Frank Smeriglio and Willie Smeriglio; his sister-in-law Mariann; his sister Nancy Smeriglio Izzi of Ashtabula, OH; his grandchildren, Frank, Alina Scallo of Ocean and Michael Scallo of Pt; and his great grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua Scallo, Winston, Olivia, Axel, Robin Snyder, Vincent, Luke, Charlotte Basil, Ella Jo, Ian Rios and Penelope Basil.
