She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Key (Cassandra) and Myra Carter (Darren); her grandchildren, Jamar Key, Nahja Carter, Kendra Key, Amaya Carter, Amari Key and Mikayla Carter; her great grandchild Hasseim Carter; her siblings, Ethel Davis, Helen Bradforth, Janice Lawrence, Ireice Walker, Rubye Malone (Burl), Thelma Townsend, John Key, Sr. (Annette), Muhasibi Khayyam (Ludell), Ronald Key, Sr. (Lola) and Eldridge Key; and her godchildren, Karla Davis, Davisha Pratt and Jhaad Fowler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM. Viewing was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Day St. Stephen AME Zion Church (1001 Springwood Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712).
