She is survived by: her children, Basheen Martin, Taleaha Martin and Donald Martin; her mother Lorraine Hamilton; and her siblings, Alexis Hamilton, Stephanie Hamilton, Norris Hamilton and Kevin Hamilton. She is also survived by 2 granddaughters; and many close relatives and friends.
During her tenure she received a Florence Nightingale Award for her significant contribution to the well-being of others.
