Charlie Nunzio Merla Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Nunzio Merla (Long Branch, New Jersey), who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nunzio Merla and Rita Merla (Cannon); his sister Terry Garvey; his parents-in-law, Bill and Juanita Krzan (Sexton); and his siblings-in-law, Kathi (Krzan), Rich Orsi and Benny Grandinetti.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Diane Merla (Krzan); his children, Dr. Alyssa Lambrese (Kevin), Nunzio Merla (Melissa) and Vito Merla (Julissa); his grandchildren, Bentley Lambrese, Violet Lambrese, Charlie Merla, Cooper Merla, Caelynn Merla and Charlotte Merla; and his sisters, Donna Politan (Louie) and Rita Grandinetti (Benny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
