She was predeceased by : her parents, Augustus Bartee and Dorothy Mae Bartee; her husband Charles; and her brother George Bartee. She is survived by : her daughters, Tracey Lennon, Tanya Lennon, Turia Lennon and Tyra Walker (Kevin); her grandchildren, Omar Smith, Imani Trent (Brianne) and Nia Walker; and her siblings, Joan Minor, Gloria Wright, Carole Lawrence and Gus Bartee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
